Hello again!

It’s been a while since I last wrote here, mostly due to the tight schedule I had during this semester. It was also the final semester of my Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, and it really was a good final. As I mentioned in a previous post, our paper got accepted into the EASE conference in Glasgow. From this, I got a chance to see the UK for 10 days and present our paper with my friend Semih. It was quite a wonderful time, where I got to experience a research conference for the first time and meet a lot of like-minded people.

A few days after this, on the 19th of June, I had my graduation ceremony. It was a time of bittersweet fun and I spent a lot of time reflecting on the last four years of my life. Looking back, what I saw was that the wrong choices I’ve made during those four years did not add up to a lot of bad consequences. However, the good choices I’ve made did make a significant difference in the final outcome. I guess one conclusion out of this is the age old advice of “just shooting your shot” is correct: I’m very much glad for the good choices I made, much than than the regret I feel for the bad ones.

So, what is there for the future? I’m not entirely sure yet. I do think that good times are on their way though :)
